研究内容
Abstract

　Theobjectiveofthepresentstudyistodrawasustainableurbanformandstructurebyanintegratedmodellingapproach.Inthestudy,themodeldefinescitiesintermsofpopulationdensitiesandmass(population/area)andrestrictsitssizethroughtheuseofurbangrowthboundaries(UGB).Theconceptualformofthecityisbasedontheassumptionthatallneighborhoodsshouldbeconnectedatleastbyonetransitmode.Thecityformproposedinthestudywillbepolycentric(orinotherwordsacollectionofneighborhoods)wheretheneighborhoodstructureisbasedonsmartgrowthprinciplesofpedestrian/bicycleorienteddesign,mixedlanduse,higherdensitiesetc.Themodelpackageisconsistedofacombinationofthreemodels---thecitylevellandcovermodel,anintegratedlandusetransportationmodelandtheneighborhoodoptimizationmodel.Allmodelsareinterrelatedanddependontheoutcomeoftheother.Forinstance,theneighborhooddesignwillallowfortransittobeprovidedwhichinturnwillcreatejobsetc.intheneighborhoodswhichwillthenagainchangethetravelpatternandneighborhoodcharacteristics.Themodeltriestosimulatethesescenariosovertimetoultimatelyprovideanoptimizedurbanformandstructure.
